Hartford/Butler Cancelled, August 1 Now at Atomic

COVID19 continues to wreak havoc on the 2020 Ti22Performance FAST on Dirt tour. The races scheduled for Friday July 31st at Hartford Speedway and Saturday, August 1st at Butler Speedway have both been cancelled. Hartford has yet to open for the year and Butler was just closed this past weekend by the county health department. Both tracks share a doubleheader weekend on Friday and Saturday, September 4th and 5th, which is still on the schedule.

Within minutes of the announcement of the cancellation, Atomic Speedway promoter, Brad McCown, inquired about moving the FAST event to his Atomic Speedway to help celebrate their Hall of Fame Night. After talking with some tour teams, it was decided that we would accept the invitation, as the event pays above the standard tour purse. We agreed to merge the best pay for each position between our 2 payouts, making it a good payday throughout the field. The A-Main purse is now set to pay: 4000, 2000, 1000, 800, 700, 600, 550, 500, 450, 425, 400, 380, 360, 340, 320, 300, 300, 300, 300, 300.

On behalf of Ti22 Performance, NAPA of Fremont, Ohio, Helms & Sons Construction and Hoosier Tire, the FAST tour will provide heat race cash payouts of 40, 30, 20, 10. All Star Performance, The Bridge Restaurant of Sidney and MSD Ignitions will provide $50 bonus awards for Hard Charger, Hard Luck and Sweet Move of the race. Remember, there are no entry fees or membership fees to race with FAST. Cars are required to run flat top wings with a maximum wickerbill of 2". Tires must be Hoosiers on all 4 corners. The right rear must be "H" series, "Medium" or "W18" and the left rear must be the "H" series tire.

Pit gate will open at 3 pm with general admission gates opening at 4. Hot laps will be at 6 pm with opening ceremonies slated for 7:30. Adult general admission is $20 with seniors and veterans just $15. Kids 10 and under are free.
