FREMONT, Ohio - The competitors in the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads FAST 410 Championship Series presented by Ohio Logistics and the JLH General Contractor FAST 305 Championship Series presented by Engine Pro will be part of an all open wheel event Friday, June 8 at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio.

The FAST 410 series competitors are hoping to make up valuable ground on point leader Craig Mintz. The Gibsonburg, Ohio driver has won four straight features at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio as he looks to add his third FAST series title. Mintz holds a commanding 58 point lead after last weekend's double-header at the two tracks. And while he has won every series event at Fremont Speedway, he has yet to take a checkered at Attica with four time series champion Byron Reed, Stuart Brubaker and last Friday's winner Cap Henry taking the honors so far at "Ohio's Finest Racing" venue. Brubaker and Henry currently sit second and third in the series' point standings.

"Craig and his team have been unbelievable at Fremont this year and have been very solid at Attica. But, Stuart (Brubaker) and Cap (Henry) could make up a lot of ground in the points battle Friday," said Rich Farmer, FAST President. "I want to thank the teams and marketing partners for all their support so far this year. With the rain-outs and weather issues we've had early on, they have stuck with us and put on fantastic shows."

Out of the seven FAST 410 events, Mintz has not finished out of the top 10 and has six top five finishes. Besides his Attica win, Brubaker has four top five finishes and six top 10 runs in series competition while Henry has a win and three top five finishes and four top 10 runs.

Tied for fourth in the FAST standings are defending series champion DJ Foos and Chris Andrews. Foos has a pair of top five finishes and three top 10 runs while Andrews has three top five finishes.

Sixth through 10th in points are Tyler Gunn, TJ Michael, Adam Kekich, Duane Zablocki and Jess Stiger with rookie Kelsey Ivy in 11th. Reed and Brian lay are 12th and 13th, each having missed two events.

In the FAST 305 series, Fremont's John Ivy has a slim 16 point lead thanks to three top five finishes in the four contested events. Brandon Moore and Jamie Miller - who won last Friday at Attica - are tied for second, each with a pair of top five finishes and three top 10 runs. Paul Weaver, who has won the last two FAST titles, sits fourth, 35 points out. Weaver has a series win at Attica to go with three top 10 performances. Tyler Street rounds out the top five in the standings, 36 points back thanks to four top 10 finishes.

The rest of the top 10 are: Kyle Capodice (3 top 10 finishes); Kyle Peters (2 top 10 finishes); Bobby Clark (a win at Fremont and 3 top 10 finishes); Matt Foos (a pair of top 5 finishes); and Seth Schneider who has a top 10 finish. Matt Lucius is 11th followed by Dustin Rall and Kevin Mingus.

Gates open Friday for Edward Jones of Clyde/Mike Neill Advisor/Gordon Lumber Mid-Season Championship Night at 5 p.m. with racing at 7:45 p.m. It is a double-point night for the 410 and 305 divisions for the track's title chase. The mini-sprints will make an appearance for the first time in decades. For more information go to
