FREMONT , Ohio – The biggest event in the history of the All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads FAST 410 Championship Series presented by Ohio Logistics will take place Friday and Saturday, Aug. 11 and 12 at Mansfield Motor Speedway in Mansfield , Ohio .
The two day Great Lakes Dirt Nationals is offering up a purse of over $100,000. The FAST 410 teams will compete not only with the Ohio Sprint Car Series (OSCS) but the big purse is sure to bring in teams from throughout the region.
The 410ci sprints will battle for $3,000 to win Friday with Saturday’s top prize awarding $15,000!
The JLH General Contractor FAST 305 Championship Series presented by Engine Pro will also be in action both days competing for two of the largest purses in the entire country. On Friday the 305ci sprint teams will race for $2,000 to win and Saturday’s A-main winner will walk away with $5,000.
The all-sprint-car extravaganza will also see the Rick’s Truck and Equipment Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS) in action. The non-wing sprint cars will compete for $2,000 to win Friday and $3,000 to win on Saturday.
To add to the excitement, Mansfield Motor Speedway Promoter Cody Sommers announced earlier this week the top three finishers in Saturday’s winged feature event will lock themselves into one of the biggest sprint car events to take place in 2018. The $100,000-to-win sprint car world championship at Mansfield is set for April 27 and 28.
“We can’t thank Cody enough for putting this huge event on. Ohio is one of the best sprint car regions in the country and this rewards the teams who battle week in and week out,” said Rich Farmer, FAST President.
