Fremont, Ohio (August 11, 2015) - For the third time in his career, Byron Reed captured the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “410” Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service championship. Reed, who earned one F.A.S.T. victory in 2015, capped off his championship quest with an impressive “hard charging” performance during the series finale on Saturday, August 8, at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. The Monclova, Ohio native charged from a 16th starting position to finish second on August 8; closing fast on eventual race winner Broc Martin. The 2015 F.A.S.T. “410” Championship Series title is worth $10,000.

Byron Reed ended his 2015 title run with a 73 point cushion over three-time series winner in 2015, Craig Mintz. Mintz, who earned his third and final win of the year on Friday night, August 7, at Attica Raceway Park, finished just ahead of Cap Henry in the final point standings. Like Mintz, Henry was a three-time series main event winner during the 2015 season. Dean Jacobs and Chris Andrews rounded out the top-five in the final series standings. Both Jacobs and Andrews found victory lane twice during F.A.S.T. competition in 2015. There were ten different winners this season, with seven drivers earning multiple F.A.S.T. “410” Championship Series feature victories.
Fremont, Ohio’s Bobby Clark earned the 2015 JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “305” Championship Series presented by Engine Pro title; earning three F.A.S.T. main event victories in the process and ending his championship campaign with a tenth place performance during the series finale at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, August 8. Jordan Ryan, who experimented with “410” sprint car action in 2015, finished second in the final F.A.S.T. “305” Championship Series title chase. Ryan ended his campaign with one feature victory and fell just short of the title by 53 markers. Fellow one-time F.A.S.T. main event winner Steve Rando finished third in the final title hunt, followed by Alvin Roepke and two-time winner John Ivy. Ivy is the most recent F.A.S.T. “305” Championship Series main event winner; earning the trip to Fremont Speedway victory lane on August 8.
Nate Dussel is the 2015 Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. “410” Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service “Rookie of the Year.” Dussel earned one victory during F.A.S.T. action in 2015 and finished seventh in the final championship standings. His lone win of the year occurred back on Saturday, July 11, at Fremont Speedway.
Jerry Dahms earned the JLH General Contractors F.A.S.T. “305” Championship Series presented by Engine Pro “Rookie of the Year” honors for 2015. Despite finishing his inaugural campaign without a victory, Dahms still managed to finish 13th in the final standings amongst an ultra-competitive field of 305ci powered sprint cars.
The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title organization will celebrate the 2015 season on Saturday, December 5, at the American Legion in Fremont, Ohio. More details to follow.
